When was Samuel written? Sometime after Israel had divided (931- 500 BC)

- We Worship Together

JESUS AT THE CENTER OF OUR SALVATION:

-We have been saved from the penalty for our sin (justification). Our sin is forgiven, and we are given the Holy Spirit..

-Three New & Better Identities (for all who believe):

1. Members of God’s family. [Luke 15:11-32] 

2. Servants in Jesus’ church. [John 13:1-17] 

3. Citizens of Jesus’ Kingdom. [Philippians 3:12-21]

-We are being saved from the power of sin by the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of God’s Word (sanctification).

-We will be saved from the presence of sin at the return of our victorious King.
