ffIt’s Monday 3rd March 2025 and in this evenings show see the pilot light of play off hope finally blown out as a twelve point gap now opens up as Blackpool once again cannot hold onto a half time lead and succumb to a late winner for Stockport at Edley Park, a result which ends our unbeaten run and our season....in early March.

• Thoughts on Edgley Park since last visit and over zealous stewards

• 7 GOAL Fletch lob after being put through by Morgan
• 15 Fletch hits the post with deft flick again after 
• 41 Worldy save from Tyrer
• “Jet2 again ole ole!”
• Football tennis on half time, Nazi stewards try to eject fans for the crime of grabbing ball 

Second half

• Three half time subs from Stockport and rejigged midfield
• 47 Anderson GOAL cross and unchallenged 
• 50 Ennis misses header from point blank range after Coulson cross
• They are dominant down the right, CJ needs hooking
• 71 subs.  Apter for Fletch, Silvera for CJ into a 451 and brief respite and we look like we can hold the ball for more than three seconds!

It’s Tuesday 18th February 2005 and in this evenings show we catch up on the latest series of home draws, firstly the mid-week match to put you to sleep against Rotherham and Saturdays jekyll and hide performance and Mansfield, results which incredibly keep us unbeaten in 2025 and in ten game but cuts us nine points adrift of the final play off spot.

• Tickets were off sale for none previous purchasers on the day and only half the away open again.  Crazy decision.
• Dreadful first half despite Carey opener 19 min, good build up play and through ball from Apter - but were we lucky to be still in the game?
• 24 GOAL.  Ball into box misjudged by Baggot and wrong side of attacker and simple header in.  A soft an equaliser as it get
• 29 GOAL. Their CM in absolute acres of space, unmarked in the middle of the pitch.  Not closed down and invited to hit one, and he did.  Jimmy have words with Silvera for missing his man
• 64 GOAL.  All the time in the world to slide rule pass into the goal, too easy
• 71 GOAL.  Fletcher decent poked finish from Gabriel hopeful ball into the box, good composed finish tbf.
• 77 Ennis put on  plate by CJ with a great run and cut back
• Stirring second half comeback - why do we only seem to be able to play well for 45 mins at home?
• Two wins at home all season and can’t win against a side that has lost SEVEN on the bounce. Is it fair to call it Gloomfield Road?

It’s Monday 27th January 2025 and this evenings show we purr over yet another sublime away performance as the ‘Pool but Exeter to the sword at St James Park over the weekend to record our sixth win on the road this season and unbelievably register our first win in seven games.  We also look ahead to tomorrow evening as ‘Pool travel to Lincoln City

It's Tuesday 7th January 2025 and in this evening's show we run the rule over Saturday's fine point away at league leaders Wycombe with Blackpool for once on the side of a last minute goal to send us home with a last gasp point against the ten man Chairboys.  We also give our thoughts on rumours that Simon Sadler has put the club up for sale and the implications of this seismic news

FIRST HALF

• Evans' schoolboy square pass across the pitch played in Kone who fortunately fires wires wide.  
• Evans fires just wide not long after with ref getting in the way.  
• Evans again playing dangerous looped ball in the same area, across the start of our defensive third, Offiyah fluffs his header and Pennington cleans out their lad, who rolls about like hes been taken out by a sniper.  Resulting pen scored

SECOND HALF

• Pool get out of jail from a short corner routine early in second half, their lad open goal from six yards out, unopposed. No one picking him up. Masters of our own downfall again?  
• RED CARD.  Harsh red on Hartridge IMO.  Bit of luck finally with refs?
• All Pool pressure after that but carving out many chances, best a drilled effort from Morgan.  Lack of quality the factor?
• GOAL.  Joseph bundling in after speculative ball in from Morgan.  Great to finally see the opposition players gutted at the death for once!
