43 miles north of Munich, Germany lies the small farmstead of Hinterkaifeck. The Gruber family, the farms inhabitants, had been experiencing strange occurences over the past week; keys missing, fresh footprints in the snow leading to their house, mysterious newspapers, and the ominous sound of footsteps coming from their attic.

It wasn’t until the night of March 31st that these individual clues would culminate in one of the most puzzling, gruesome, and unsolved crimes in German history…
