Monday Morning Macabre

Season 2 Episode 19: Robert Pickton

Listen Later

February 6, 2002

Robert Pickton, the owner and operator of Pickton Farms, was a quiet man. His farm was not like your average run-of-the-mill farming setups. Pickton was known to throw wild, drug fueled raves on the property and invite people from all walks of life to come and party at his barn. While these raucous parties were wild, nothing horrific happened there, or so Bill Hiscox, an employee of the farm, thought.

Hiscox began noticing that women who would come to the farm started going missing. On February 6, 2002, Hiscox would inform the police who would search the premises and find items belonging to the missing women on the grounds of the farm. What makes this case so horrific is that the bodies wouldn’t be found…

because they were fed to the farm animals
