The inhabitants of Plainsfield, Wisconsin, were unaware at the time, but they were about to become witness to of one of the most horrific serial killers of all time, and the inspiration for numerous horror films including Psycho and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

The killer in question was Ed Gein. Known not just for the murders he committed, but also for what he did to the bodies post-mortem…
