Charlie Otero and his two siblings were returning home from school one afternoon when they uncovered something horrible. The rest of their family had been murdered while they were gone. This tragedy marked the beginning of one of America’s most infamous serial killers - BTK.

BTK is so well known due to not only his modus operandi (Bind, Torture, Kill), but also his flagrant taunting of the police. BTK would send in hand-written messages discussing his murders and suggesting names of book chapters to be used in his biography.

From the years of 1974 to 1991, 10 people were murdered by the hands of BTK. After his final victim, the case went cold and authorities believed that he would never face justice, that is until 13 years later when a slew of 11 messages were sent to local media…
