After moving away from Baltimore, the once iconic Colts franchise had some difficulties recapturing their past glories - that is, until a certain quarterback prospect entered the picture. Peyton Manning had everything needed to turn the franchise around, and he did so from day one... but as the years passed and chances to win a Super Bowl continued to slip away, questions began to arise about Manning and the Colts' abilities to get it done. Faced with a similar quandary was the Baltimore Ravens, who were hoping to close out a strong start to the 2006 season in triumphant fashion. As it would happen, these two clubs were on a collision course towards a game that would prove to be a defining juncture for both of them.
