Season Spoiler Synopsis: The Bionic Woman was a remake of a 1970s show of the same name, aired on NBC in 2007. The show starred Jaime Sommers (Michelle Ryan), who, after discovering that she is pregnant with her boyfriend's child, is in a horrific car accident that terminates the pregnancy and causes her boyfriend, a doctor working for a clandestine agency, to replace both her legs, one arm, an eye and an ear with advanced cybernetic augmentations which give her super speed, strength, hearing, and vision. Jamie, not wanting to be turned into a medical experiment, escapes from the facility and, in the process, discovers that she is the second woman, Sarah Corvus (Katie Sackhoff), to undergo this transformation and that the original bionic woman was the cause of the car accident and subsequent murder of her boyfriend. Due to how much capital has been sunk into Jamie by the organization, she is recruited by Antonio Pope (Isaiah Washington), trained by Jae Kim (Will Yun Lee), and commanded by the leader of the organization Jonas Bledsoe (Miguel Ferrer). Along with struggling with her responsibilities as an unwilling superhero and spy, Jamie also has to contend with her 15-year-old sister Becca (Lucy Hale), whom she is raising after the death of their parents. The show ends with the discovery that Jamie will eventually begin to lose her mind and faculties like the first bionic woman did unless they can do more research and find a way to stop the inevitable transformation.

Spoiler Show Synopsis: American Gigolo is a Showtime television adaptation of the 1980 film of the same name. In the series we see Julian Kaye (played by Jon Bernthal) being exonerated for a murder he spent fifteen years in prison for. Julian was a male prostitute, or gigolo, from the age of 15 when his mother sent him off to get out of his unfavorable home situation. Once freed, he tries to adjust to life outside and uncover the circumstances of his framing. He takes up somewhat of a reluctant partnership with Det. Joan Sunday (played by Rosie O’Donnell), the detective who put him away. During this process of returning back to a normal life, he hopes to reconnect with his lover Michelle (Gretchen Mol). Michelle’s son Colin (played by Gabriel Labelle) is on the lamb after falling in love with his teacher and escaping with her to create a new life. Colin’s lover, Elizabeth, is accidentally killed by Richard Stratton’s (Leland Orser) lawyer/right hand man, Panish. Detective Sunday hunts for clues to solve both murders and Julian, Michelle, and Richard search for Colin (who we find out is Julian’s biological son). Colin is taken for ransom by a man called McGregor who worked for Olga (Julian’s former boss) and who now works for Richard. Isabelle (played by Lizzie Brocheré), Olga’s successor, contacts McGregor and brings Colin back to Julian and Michelle. In the end of the series, we see Julian and Michelle planning to start back up where they left of, creating a life together, only for Michelle to pull the plug when she sees Colin and Richard start to repair their shattered relationship.

Season Spoiler Synopsis: Backstrom was a Fox crime procedural drama starring (Rainn Wilson) as Everett Backstrom, a lieutenant in the Portal Police Department in charge of the Special Crimes unit. Backstrom is racist, homophobic, ornery, unhealthy, and narcissistic. He constantly drinks and smokes cigars on the job and is under medical review from the police bureau due to his alcoholism and destructive lifestyle. Despite all of his negative attributes, he is still interested in finding and capturing criminals using his skills of deduction and psychology. The rest of his unit varies wildly in rank and skill set. They all appreciate Backstrom to varying degrees for his insights and his commitment to solving crimes, even if they find his methods unorthodox and often illegal. As the show progresses, we see Backstrom clash with his roommate/half-brother, who is a criminal himself working as a fence for stolen goods and a CI for Backstrom in the underworld. Throughout the show, we learn of Backstrom’s troubled relationship with his father (Robert Forster), a local sheriff outside of Portland's rural county. Despite him appearing kind and welcoming to Backstrom at every encounter where they cross paths, we also see him undercut and undermine Backstrom showing a darker nature to his kindly rustic demeanor. After catching his father intimidating a witness to a significant crime, Backstrom reports him to Internal Affairs and attends his first AA meeting to confront his addiction finally.

Together with the help of his nearly immortal friend Chas (Charles Halford), Zed (Angélica Celaya), a seer who can use her visions to guide them in their battle, and Manny (Harold Perrineau), an angel sent down to watch over Constantine. After saving many lives and ridding the world of many demons and spirits, it is revealed that the folks behind these evils are an ancient organization known as the Brujeria.
