Lawrence Peryer, host of Spotlight On, the latest podcast presented Osiris Media, is a lifelong music fan and has been an executive, entrepreneur and creative professional in the entertainment business for over 25 years. With Spotlight On, he calls on his many industry friends and colleagues to take listeners backstage and behind-the-scenes into the worlds of music, media, technology and the arts, all to help understand the past, present and future of popular culture and the business of making it. 

Season Seven kicks off on July 7 with Bay Area guitarist Steve Kimock, on his musical evolution and his seminal band, Zero. Following that is Spotlight On’s first live taping since the start of the pandemic, from the National Independent Venue Association Conference in Cleveland, featuring the trailblazing Detroit impresario, Shahida Mausi. July 21 brings Chris Duffy, who runs the Duffy Archive, which houses the work of his late father, Brian Duffy, the British photographer who revolutionized fashion and pop culture photography and captured the iconic image that graces the cover of David Bowie’s Aladdin Sane.
