Seasonal Anime Checkup OVA

Jared’s a bit under the weather so it’s time for him and Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) to do reach deep into the grab bag and talk about multiple topics. We discuss the latest Nintendo Direct and the announcements associated with that. Jared and AL went through Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD because Jared thought it might be a good way to play that game. It wasn’t. Finally, Jared played through Marvel’s Spider-Man and wanted to talk heavily about swinging, the story, and the strange relationship with police the game has.

Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) and Jared discuss an anime from earlier this year with A Place Further Than The Universe. AL recently decided to watch it so we break down the show episode-by-episode and talk about what makes the series so good and especially episode 11.

CONTENT WARNING: Talks of suicide and parental death in this episode.

Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) and Jared discuss this very website's 2015 second best game of the year since AL has just now played it. We discuss each individual episode, the story as a whole, AL's initial thoughts having just completed it, and how this game can make you feel emotions you don't expect.

Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) and Jared talk about the 2013 hit in Beyond the Boundary/Kyoukai no Kanata! AL somehow forgot to mention that she was watching this to Jared until the very end, which led for a humorous exchange, but we discuss the happenings of the series and the sequel movie as well to see how good the action/romance series from Kyoto Animation is.

Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) and Jared return to the land of co-op as we discuss a few more games we recently played through together. First up we have to talk about being good dads and fighting zombies in Dead Rising 2 and then it's time to follow that up by remembering our times in a simulation and as the President of the United States in Saints Row IV.
