Political Correctness: the avoidance, often considered as taken to extremes, of forms of expression or action that are perceived to exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against. If you think that our adherence to political correctness has gone over the top these days, it’s still hard to argue that insulting or marginalizing an individual or group of people is okay because they took what you said “the wrong way.” Kevin learned that lesson the hard way when he repeated something he’d heard his dad say many times.
