In this episode, we discuss the impact Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs, have on adults. To ensure we understand the need for a biblical approach to personal development, I highlight four evidence-based truths about ACEs, and how they could impact your life today (if they are left unresolved).

When I discovered these statistics, I was shocked. 😳 I quickly realized that there are a lot of efforts being made to prevent ACEs.🙌 However, I wanted to know what I could do to help women (and girls) navigate life after facing various forms of adversity. Prevention is great for those who have yet to be impacted by the adverse experience.

Offering suggestions for what individuals need without the plan to gain or achieve them is what was missing from many programs and training initiatives around ACEs. When I received the vision for @_seasonsoflife_ in 2016 while on that 23-city tour, I knew God has given me something so special. I’m committed (and have been for the last decade) to developing women at the intersection of faith and business because I know firsthand what it is like to be defined by the adversity you face.
