Well well welcome to an early Spring Second City Podcast.  Andy Medlock here, and this episode brings together two special mini sets curated and delivered from my Wind Down radio show on Thames FM. Each mix focuses on a truly groundbreaking artist and looks to provide the perfect snap shot into their craft, selecting tunes that are personal favourites and best illustrate each artist's craft to the full.

This time we feature two artists that have significantly influenced the genre of house - one for a number of year and one for decades:  New Zealand brothers and lo-slung House gurus Chaos in the CBD, and Merseyside King of the Re-Edit and house legend Greg Wilson.  

Both CBD and Mr Wilson bring incredible range and pathos to their music in diverse ways, resulting in beautiful blends of sounds that place emphasis on slick downtempo styles that exude cool.

Well well well!  We're back and beginning with our brand new talkPodcast series  titled Second City Sounds, which brings Andrew Medlock, Dave Tomkins and Heath Tyldesley together to chat all things music.

In this first-ever episode, the three amigos each pick a track that they feel best tips the hat to the late, great Jose Padilla and the Cafe Del Mar/Balearic sound, before choosing tracks that have had a key influence on their musical journey from an early age.

The Second City chaps then pick a track that has tickled their ears over the past week or so, and ones that we hope tickle your buds too.   All of this lovingly surrounded by chat that doesn't take itself too seriously and provides a bit of humour and informality to exploring some amazing music.
