United States Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle acquiesced to a subpoena to appear in front of the House of Representatives to answer questions about why GOP candidate and former president Donald Trump came within a few inches of being assassinated under her watch. The results were brutal, with Cheatle withering under grilling from both sides of the aisle in the form of Nancy Mace, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ro Khanna.
