After one week of baseball games, there is so much to discuss.  The Reds split their opening series with the defending world champion Braves and Hunter Greene and Nick Lodolo made their major league debuts, however, Phil Castellini's comments on Opening Day overshadowed what should have been a joyous occasion.  The guys are also concerned about a couple players in the lineup where decisions will need to be made about sooner rather than later.  The team heads west to face the Dodgers and Padres this weekend.  What kind of success can we expect out there?

Happy "Opening Day" Reds fans!  While we all know the true Opening Day is next week at GABP, we get excited for game 1 by going through our season prop bets for the team.  They guys also discuss the moves that the Reds made to trim the roster down to 28.

It was a slow week for MLB news, but one big name player is making his return to the NL Central.  The guys talk about Albert Pujols' return to St. Louis and what they should expect from him this year.  As Opening Day approaches, Reds ownership have made their rounds with the media the past week to regain the trust of the teams fandom.  Does anyone actually believe in the words they are saying?  Finally, the guys get into the Reds stories from Spring Training the last week and preview the pitching staff for this upcoming season.

The MLB lockout is finally over and it's been a busy week of news.  The guys review the new rule changes made from the new CBA and some of the big roster moves other teams have made since the agreement.  Meanwhile, the Reds have made big roster moves of their own by parting ways with 4 key players from their 2021 roster.  Listen to the guys reactions to those moves and expectations for the coming weeks.

MLB and the players are still negotiating the next collective bargaining agreement.  So the guys provide an update on the news around that as well as the Hall of Fame election.  Alex and Randy have been coping with the lack of baseball by watching baseball movies, which Joe has seen very few.  So we decided to test Joe's baseball movie knowledge.  How many movies can you name?

The guys get together and review the MLB Awards given out after the season.  Jonathan India earned NL Rookie of the Year and Nick Castellanos wins the Silver Slugger.  Were there any snubs?  MLB free agency is in full spring as several highly ranked players made their decisions.  Are the Reds in on any?  The guys express their frustrations with how this offseason has started for the Reds as we are still left with many questions before the imminent lockout begins tomorrow.  The guys finish up by talking about the coaching carousel in college football and the championship week games.

The guys react to the Atlanta Braves beating the Houston Astros in the World Series.  And now that the season is officially over, other roster news starts making its way out.  They give reactions to the news of Buster Posey retiring and the Reds trading Tucker Barnhart.  Then, the guys put a final cap on this season by revisiting their pre-season over/under bets.  And they finish off by giving their thoughts on the first CFP rankings that made a lot of people upset.

Joe and Alex discuss Mark Sheldon's article of 5 questions facing the Reds this offseason.  They also discuss the Cardinals and Yankees managerial situations and give a playoff update.  Finally, Joe and Alex debate who the best college football team in Ohio is.

The Reds may have missed out on the playoffs.  But that's not going to stop the guys from talking baseball.  We talk about each of the Wild Card and Divisional matchups and give our predictions for how the rest of the playoffs will go.  Meanwhile, the Reds are looking to next season by sending several prospects to the Arizona Fall League.  Who are the prospects to watch?  Finally, we discuss the weekend of college football where UC dominated Notre Dame and showed why they're the best team in the state of Ohio.
