We have a new trilogy which promise to teach some culture, sophistication and good taste. We introduce "Europe”, a range dedicated to dance music from the 70s and 80s in the old continent.

This interesting project is signed by Profonda Rossa a.k.a. Marta Liébana, who thanks the collaboration in advance and we thank her for giving us this compilation full of genius and rarities masterpieces.

Marta is an experienced dj from Madrid who starts her new career as Profonda Rossa, but you have probably enjoyed before as Miss Lieb. She defines herself as: ”above all, a compulsive seeker of music always trying to find the rarities. After that, I try to mix it just for fun.”

This first episode is titled "Troika" and is a tour of musical styles that have been exclusively designed and created for the cinematographic format. Under a formula of musical selection rather than a set, the short length of some tracks makes difficult or impossible to mix it, and they are masterpieces that deserve to be listened to without overlaps, from the beginning to the end, appreciating each of the tones of the composition.

She says: "on one hand we approach to the musical genre Library, a style quite unknown, within this style you can find funk , jazz or Bossa. Almost all the records of this kind were compilations of several artists who created and sold their compositions to the companies, these were the ones who were in charge of hiring the musicians to record and publish it, keeping the copyright. On the other hand there are some tracks from soundtracks which were much better than the film. Some dramatic OST pieces have been selected for this podcast, as in a good movie can pass from sonorous form of joy to sensuality, lyrical episodes, intrigue and tragic touches.

We can listen to synthesizers inside these works that provide a fun touch but do not prevent a high dose of elegance. I wanted to make this first podcast with the desire that music will be the main actor "

Patrick Steger is not new here, but in case you missed it, he was born in Switzerland in 1980. His passion for the music began in the electronic 90s listening to Detroit techno and Chicago style. As a result, these two became the most important influences for his music.

Patrick works in the historic Orlando Voorn’s label Nightvision and very soon he will be released on the Orlando Voorn - “Muzik is Life” EP (RS015). He’s an active member of the Minimal Detroit Crew too, but his work doesn’t finish there, he’s an old school dj and a pure vinyl lover. His mixes are the perfect example of the classic techno sessions which have that historical and well-known vinyl sound.

As a producer, he’s basically on the same line, with those hypnotic detroit techno rhythms from the 90s and 2000s which can make you dance and don’t let you scape from the dance floor.

Here we are again. Podcast number 50, it sounds easy but it takes too much work. An awesome task where we have found different artists, friends, works, concepts, points of view and above all, the culture as a gift for the love of the of the scene.

This is the main reason we decided to entrust such a great task to someone who communicates with all of the above, in addition to being rightly with our criteria.

+Ón closes the OOPart trilogy with this Vol. 003. If you are a newcomer, OOPArt is the term "out of place artifact". This word is referred to an object of historical, archaeological or palaeontological interest found in a very unusual or seemingly impossible context that could challenge the conventional chronology of history.

In this special series, +Ón makes the translation and adapts the term from a musical perspective, but with the same conception of the original definition. Thus, in this third volume, we cross the layers of the Ambient and infinite pads without moving away from the rhythmic pattern of the breaks. A tribute to a golden age where complex structures blend with traditional rhythms and instruments, drawing dreamlike landscapes to approaches of Israel or India music, Letfield, Downtempo, Trance, Jungle or Dub.

The experienced artist from Extremadura leaves the task of DJ to make something bigger on this occasion, because this is not only music, this is something else; these are sound images that draw in the mind of the receiver landscapes and intangible scenes that could only be enjoyed dreamlike, it looks more like a film tape but without the visual part. This is not just being a DJ, it's something huge. We will not talk about the perfect harmonies and transitions because we know who is the creator, we will only say this is the perfect clasp to this podcast, a difficult work and almost impossible to repeat.

+Ón was the first artist who created a series of podcast without being a Secuencia X Friends, but what can we say about Juanmi (+Ón): It was love at first sight. Jealous of his own work, it is not so common to find media collaborations, as he says: "I am not friend of the press or posters, even the nowadays marketing. I mix for the world that surrounds me, but sometimes I travel to some clubs. When it happens I do it occasionally, I can create podcasts when the agreement comes and the mood flows, as it was in this case."

So we are really lucky to have launched these 3 episodes, a trilogy which must be listened. We are sure you will enjoy it! .

We are pleased to announce the beginning of the year with a new podcast that distances us from the cold winter and transports us to lands with a warmer weather and enviable landscape, the ones are reflected in its music. We are talking about Brazil, a country with a huge cultural music tradition. It is not only the country of samba and bossa, but also jazz, disco, boggie, house and others.

Such a great mission could not fall on anyone and this made us look for a guy who is an expert in the field, Gascón, disc jockey, music collector and of course a friend of Secuencia3Radio, with an extensive worthy collection. This podcast is a sample of it, a great selection of his best vinyls (around a year of selection work) to make a soundtrack of the carioca music, all in a perfect harmonious progression.

As he says: "The mix only tries to show a small selection of my favorite songs played by Brazilian artists. It is not a podcast made of dark oddities and impossible to get without mortgaging the house, bringing light to the real diggers It is only a small sample of the enormous diversity of genres and styles that are found in Brazilian music and which, hopefully will serve to introduce the neophytes into this vast genre".

We take a trip to La Coruña (Spain) to start the 4th-Season with Función Binaria.

From the Galician capital, Función Binaria has created a musical exhibition that combines Noise, Techno, EBM 2.0, Industrial, Dark Ambient, Drone and others.

If you don't know this artist, you should put him on your list; his sets have hundreds of plays and the quality of each one is worthy. Huge experience, awesome selection, accuracy and equalization skills are the main values ??of his work.

If you ever find yourself in front of his music, you should feel lucky, because some of his works pay tribute to artists such as Convextion, Plant 43, Arcanoid or Boris Divider.

In relation to this podcast, Función Binaria says: “I changed the BPM to a couple of tracks. It works in some songs, it can sound good, but totally different with a 10 or 15 BPM variation. The title is related to the idea I try to capture. The Nucleus Accumbens and capabilities are linked to pleasure, addiction, fear, and the most important, it is involved in emotions induced by music making your brain release dopamine.”

El Núcleo Accumbens y sus capacidades están ligados al placer, la adicción, el miedo. Y lo más importante, está implicado en las emociones inducidas por la música, pudiendo incluso a llegar a liberar dopamina."

Arthur Gaerdes is back i the town and you know, if you say “Dj Arg” you must be talking about acid music. This German producer and DJ knows how it works with more than 20 years of work behind him.

As we told you earlier, he began in electronic music through the collection of cassettes and vinyl records of his brother, and since '94, he has been an active artist, not only in several clubs, but also in the studio.

His productions and sets are based on fat 303 lines together with legendary Roland drum machines 606, 707, 808 and 909. We couldn’t say no to the opportunity to sign a series of regular collaborations that will make us enjoy this historic sound.

“22yr Honestly Acid” is basically the musical testimony of someone who has spent more than two decades of pure love and work in this style.

We could say “enjoy it”, but we're sure you will love it!

Alejandro Yáñez says to us that he is not definitely a Dj, neither a producer, he is just a clubber with different tastes for great music. Thanks to a collaboration with Electromagnética Radio about “Dark” Music topic, now he has decided to make a podcast on that similar way for us.

The podcast you are listening to is a fresh new wave skeleton made of synthetic, cold, minimalistic and obscure sounds. Far from mainstream, the podcast tries to represent many new artists (except Derniere Volonté who was producing music before year 2000), who deserve our attention.

In this point, we can feel the synth and cold wave music which comes from dark wave and post punk styles. You won´t find here the most known bands such as Tropic Of Cancer, The Kvb or Led Er Est, but also many other good artists we expect you to be surprised.

From Canary Islands, Unai Barrameda is back to Secuencia3Radio with a new podcast full of house, funk and disco, an eclectic set that perfectly defines his current musical line. With an intense activity around the Islands, Unai has left press in each club he has passed. As he says:

"In 2015, I played regularly at Shack making long sessions and unleashing my own creativity on the dance floor, playing from disco to house and sending a message full of groove to the environment. Meanwhile and after several sessions at Pub Pelukas, the opportunity arose to play at Shack in b3b with Dani Amador and Dani Miranda, giving me a bonus of experience, diversification and styles that made every single party awesome.

2016 started quite strong, immersed in my more personal line and eclectic search so far, I made sets in which the most important are the feelings transmitted along with the groove, in a mix full of disco, house , deep, african and even acid sounds. After this it came the opportunity to play in a new local of the city, "Dada", which strongly backs the idea of ??transmitting feelings on the dance floor, making each session a cosmic journey where you can hear fresh sets, becoming soon a great reference of the Palma's night for both locals and foreigners. My first dj set was really well received there, the second was even better so I hope to continue sharing my music with this interesting project in the future.

Also I would like to say thank you,for your Secuencia3Radio project and let me contribute with my sounds to keep growing and spreading the power of music.
