New Year's is terrifying for children in Akita, Japan.
There's a local tradition called Namahage where grown men dress up like demons to scare children into behaving for their parents. They go from house to house yelling things like "Are there any crybabies at home?" or "Are naughty kids around?"
This episode we talk to Dawn and Jon and learn what the true meaning of Jonmas is. And also discuss how we celebrate the holidays as atheists, but mainly Jonmas.
(In case you're wondering about the title, we're doing a science experiment on YouTube to see just how many people will click on a video with "porn" in the title. Don't tell anyone.)
