“You gonna believe me or your own eyes” is a line made famous by the Marx Brothers. Lately, Marxists of another stripe and their allies seem to think the American people will believe them rather than what can be readily observed about the violence traumatizing cities across the country.

For example, Vice President Joe Biden and his supporters insist that the riots, looting and loss of life are President Trump’s fault. We’re told that white supremacists are the perpetrators, not the Antifa or BLM radicals observed committing such crimes.

The Left is skilled at the art of deflection and projection. But no amount of spinning and dissembling by President Trump’s opponents or their media enablers, will alter a reality your own eyes can readily discern: We are being subjected to a determined effort to overthrow our constitutional Republic. 

See it; stop it.

Ant Group is the latest Chinese Communist Party company to seek to tap the savings of unwitting U.S. investors and others to raise immense amounts of money. More akin to termites than ants, it hollows out data collected from sources like American military personnel, to their detriment and our nation’s.

That’s why two years ago the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. blocked Ant’s purchase of Moneygram, a fund-transfer service popular with servicemembers. Now, the company is preparing to launch an IPO expected to garner $30 billion.

Originally, that was supposed to happen on Wall Street. Faced with growing concern about Chinese listings there, the IPO will be offered on Chinese markets. But U.S. financiers will be pushing their clients to subscribe.

American patriots don’t want to underwrite our enemy. Wall Street must be called out for continuing to do so.

This week, the Republican convention gave a platform to many heroes. Among them was one of freedom’s most impressive champions, a blind Chinese dissident who found safety and liberty in America after he escaped torture and imprisonment at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.

In brief remarks subsequently tweeted by President Trump, Chen Guangcheng warned: “The CCP is an enemy of humanity. It is terrorizing its own people, and it is threatening the wellbeing of the world….The U.S. must use its values of freedom, democracy and the rule of law to gather a coalition of other democracies to stop the CCP’s aggression.”

This reality must inform our pending national decision. Our next Commander-in-Chief will face no more important national security, economic and public health threat than that posed by the CCP. We must know now if they will act accordingly.

The Chinese Communist Party’s military is conducting live-fire exercises in strategic waters of the Western Pacific, including splashing down in the South China Sea at least one so-called “aircraft carrier-killer” ballistic missile.

Like the illegal man-made islands the CCP has created and armed there, the message is unmistakable: China is determined to control the area and its use. The implications for our national security, commerce and allies are huge.

Fortunately, the Trump administration brought new leverage to bear yesterday by sanctioning twenty-four Chinese companies involved in the PRC’s take-over of the South China Sea. The most important of these is the Chinese Communications Construction Corporation. It’s also a prime-mover behind the CCP’s efforts to build an ominous, global colonial empire.

President Trump’s latest sanctions are, therefore, a needed and welcome two-fer for America and the Free World.

The State Department just urged Americans to divest Chinese Communist Party companies’ stocks at risk of de-listing from our capital markets. How is the CCP responding? Incredibly, it’s bringing more of its companies here, confident Wall Street allies will help ensnare more U.S. investors and underwrite more of its malevolence.

A poster-child for such a gambit is XPeng Motors. It’s expected to raise a billion-plus dollars in an over-subscribed Initial Public Offering in New York tomorrow. Known as China’s Tesla, XPeng manufactures electric cars.

That’s a particularly apt comparison because XPeng has been accused of stealing Tesla’s patented intellectual property. Ditto, Apple’s closely held autonomous vehicle technology.

Before we reward an alleged serial thief of American IP with the money of mostly unwitting U.S. investors, this IPO should be paused and subjected to close national security and national interest scrutiny.

Last week, a top State Department official took the extraordinary step of warning leaders of academic institutions that there may be “a wholesale delisting” of Chinese corporations from U.S. capital markets by the end of next year.

Under Secretary of State Keith Krach – who, prior to taking up his present responsibilities had a successful career in business and in governance in the academy – told the boards of university endowments it would be “prudent to divest from PRC firms’ stocks.”

This message about undisclosed material risks and potential financial losses from investing in Chinese Communist Party companies should be heeded by individual and institutional investors on Wall Street and state public pensions funds, too.

Secretary Krach’s bottom line is absolutely right and must be heeded now, before Americans are subjected to predictable, and predicted, losses from enabling the CCP’s malevolence.

On Friday, President Trump tweeted that the Deep State at the Food and Drug Administration has been slow-rolling promising treatments for the Chinese Communist Party virus for political reasons.

By Sunday, he was able to announce that the FDA had cleared one called “convalescent plasma” for emergency use. Good news! Better yet, the President secured the agreement of the FDA’s Commissioner that – if a treatment is safe and effective – those afflicted with the CCP virus have a “Right to Try” it. 

Dr. Stephen Hahn’s agency knows that the safety and effectiveness of an even-more-promising treatment called oleandrin has been established to the point where it should be made available for widespread, lifesaving human trials and sold as a natural supplement.

We have a right to try oleandrin and the FDA must clear the way for us to do so. Now.

The to-date unacknowledged elephant in the Democrats’ virtual convention hall has been the Chinese Communist Party. To be sure, the virus the CCP unleashed on us has gotten a lot of attention, but not the perpetrator of that crime against humanity that has killed 160,000 of us so far and devastated our country.

It’s doubly odd because there is clearly no bigger threat to the security of the United States – and, therefore, no more important item on the agenda of the next Commander-in-Chief, whoever that may be, than Chinese Communism.

An explanation for the nearly complete, collective neglect of this present and growing danger by the Democratic Convention, though, is even more troubling than the fact that it is happening: The Chinese Communist Party is actively pulling for a Biden presidency.

We need to know why that’s so – and what it portends.

Great news, folks! When asked yesterday about the natural supplement oleandrin, President Trump declared that “we are looking at it” in connection with his administration’s efforts to defeat the Chinese Communist Party virus.

In other words, despite media claims that this product known as Serrativir is “unproven,” Mr. Trump knows better. In fact, this oleandrin molecule has been proven safe in myriad clinical experiments and successfully tested in laboratory and limited human trials against Covid-19.

All that is needed now is for the Food and Drug Administration to allow further, lifesaving testing to be done with Serrativir. Alternatively, it can simply clear the way for this oleandrin product to be sold as a natural supplement.

Either way, the American people must promptly be afforded the opportunity to be spared the further ravages of the CCP virus and to get our country back.

Most Americans have been praying for a cure to the Chinese Communist Party virus. Such a prospect turns out to be horrifying, however, if you are a Deep State bureaucrat, someone invested in open-ended and lucrative research into unpromising medicines or vaccines and/or a political opponent of President Trump.

Hence the vehemently hostile response of a leftist publication called Axios to information about Oleandrin, a natural supplement that has proven in clinical experiments and limited human trials in Texas to crush the CCP virus. Rather than celebrate this development and call for an urgent effort to validate such findings with widespread, life-saving trials, Axios touted the uninformed criticisms of naysayers determined to snuff further work on this apparent breakthrough.

The product known as Serrativir appears to be an answer to our nation’s prayers. Let’s confirm that it works and get our America back.
