  • S1 EP101 | Dharma Dudes: What Did We Learn This Year? | Feat. Rocky Heron

Rocky is back and we reflect on this past year and how we have grown. We conclude that we have no f*cks to give. We are who we are. We talk about boundaries, learning lessons, and not worrying about what others think of us.

We do the real talk about the hard things we went through in 2019 and our plan for 2020.

This is the last show for this year!

Thank you everyone for supporting the show! Listen and enjoy!

  • S1 EP100 | 100th episode special | Feat. ME!

Can you believe it! We made it to 100 episodes!

It's been a whirlwind of real talk on the past 100 episodes with the most inspirational yoga leaders. It feels really good to normalize certain conversations and shed light on those places in the yoga world that some shy away from.

In today's show Susannah interviews me on the highlights that have happened since we started this podcast 3 years ago. I reveal my top two favorite guests that I've had on the show (even though we don't have favorites). I also share the plans for this podcast moving forward and who my next dream podcasts guests would be.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing up and listening in. Cheers to the next 100 shows.

If we haven't yet, let's meet in person! Join me in Portugal for my retreat in April! Let's live this life together. https://dannipomplun.com/yoga-offerings/retreats/

  • S1 EP99 | A Year Later | Feat. Krista Ripma

Krista is a heart centered business owner and entrepreneur. She is real, raw, and authentic. She was on our show last year and to hear where she's at one year later is inspiring. There's been so much shift and change for the both of us.

The biggest is that we both needed to create space for ourselves and learn how to reset. We reflected a ton on some major lessons from this past year. We get into success versus happiness and how to stay on track.

One note that I heard from Krista - Choose everyday to be authentic. The more honest we are with ourselves. The more it will trigger other people. Be you and take care of yourself to shine.

Thank you everyone for supporting the show! Listen and enjoy!

  • S1 EP98 | Sitting is Killing you | Feat. Tristan Gatto

As I was recording this podcast, I had a hard time believing that it's almost episode 100. So thankful to have this strong community supporting the show!

Speaking of, today is episode 98 and one of the coolest teachers I've met in a long time is on with us. Tristan Gatto shares his journey with yoga and physical therapy. He's married them together to get people healthy in their bodies.

I have seen this trend of yoga moving into functional movements and it's super cool to get his perspective on it. He is not only supporting practitioners but teachers as well, offering programs to help them deepen their knowledge of the body. These programs also give teachers shill to work with private clients in a smart and accessible way.

Again I want to thank everyone for supporting the show! Listen and enjoy!

  • S1 EP96 | Accessible Yoga | Feat. Jivana Heyman

Not everyone can do all the yoga poses we see in the world or can they? This week on the podcast I have Jivana Heyman on the show and he's here to make sure EVERYONE can! Jivana is the founder of the non-profit Accessible Yoga, a training program and method that is dedicated to share yoga with everyone. As a teacher, I have found myself thinking "how do I off this pose to XYZ in the room?". He's on a mission to make not only the physical practice but the language we use in class accessible for all.

  • S1 EP94 | Dharma Dudes: Your Purpose | Feat. Rocky Heron
Rocky is back and we’re keeping it real. Sharing experiences from our path, but also where we are in life that allows us to continue to create space for our purpose.
    • We talk about the meditation training that I went through recently, digging deeper into the work and finding moments of silence that transpired from the weekend. I dive into the transformational experiences that come from the weekend.
    • The steps you take on your path to your purpose are powerful, all the space that is created and how we move forward each day through the process. We share some of these processes we’ve taken along our path.
    • We also talk about the identity that we live within our purpose. From yoga teachers, actors, musicians and everything else that we call ourselves. The internal search of “I am” while we move forward on our paths.

Today I have Brian Carew. If you haven’t seen his posts already he is an advocate for positive body images in men. This can be such a taboo topic, and Brian shares his journey through it.

    • Brian shares when it started and how he started to recognize it. Starting with time-controlled eating, and how cheat days become more. The influence on the fitness community and the power of movement we talk about the changes that happen when we connect with our bodies.
    • We also talk about how social media helps share his message, empowering other men through their journey. Learning that there is a community of men who struggle with body image issues.
