  • Ponderings

In this episode I reflect on attending the Fast Company Innovation 2023 Conference. I give kudos to FC and also report on comments made by Patagonia's CEO Ryan Gellert where they are a bot over a year since they had a major changeover of ownership to an Irrevocable Trust and how that has been going. I also discuss the newest value they've added that guides Patagonia going forward.

  • Does America Need to 'Grow Up?'

In today's episode, I take a moment to respond to a recent opinion piece from David Brooks: 'Hey, America, Grow Up!' I also look back on my own upbringing, values, and the state of the overwhelmed American workforce. Why are people  bogged down, resistant to change, or just stuck in life? And what can we do to get out of our own heads, come together, and build our way forward?

Sudhir used an intriguing metaphor sharing his own embracing of Lotus123 and then Excel early in his career.
