Seeking the Gospel Truth

Because of illness, I'm not publishing a new Sunday Psalm for today. However, given the war in Israel, I wanted to repost the Psalms of Ascents. Jews sang these psalms as they ascended into Jerusalem for the High Holy Days. These 15 psalms, from 120-134, are organized in 5 groups of 3. Each triad takes us from trouble, trust, and triumph. They speak of trouble and call to God, confirm their trust in the Lord, and then triumph in the Lord’s victory over their problems.

We don’t have a choice about what troubles come our way. However, we can choose to have a relationship with Jesus…

If you want a true relationship with Jesus, pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

World Religions: A Remarkable Look into the Growth of Paganism & Demon Worship

Have you ever wondered where many of our culture’s traditions and religions started? Hi, this is Giselle Aguiar of Seeking the Gospel Truth. In 2020, I did a deep dive into the history of the Roman Catholic Church, where all its traditions came from, and who invented things like purgatory and the Eucharist. They certainly aren’t biblical.

Today, more and more people are walking away from the “church” because they weren’t rooted in the Bible — the Word of God. Where are they going? They are embracing various forms of paganism and demon worship. This prompted me to do a little research into the beginnings of traditions and religious practices — many of which have been injected into “Christian” churches. In this special series of blogs and podcasts I’ll be covering…

You’ll want to subscribe so you don’t miss any of these!

But first, we’re covering where and how paganism got started and we find its history in the Bible. Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

No matter what’s going on in the world right now, our one and only HOPE is KING JESUS! That’s what we have to keep in mind every day. Many of the psalms are prophetic. That is, they tell of Jesus’ coming Kingdom to give us that confident hope. Pastor Sandy Adams has a great introduction to this psalm…

Today we live in “the day of man” – rebellious men are having their say on planet Earth. But the day is coming, when God will arise and have the final word! The Bible calls this time, yet future, “the day of the Lord”. Jesus will return to Earth, and take control of all that belongs to Him. A new day will dawn. Psalm 68 describes God’s takeover of the planet…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

¿Eres tu? ¡Es hora de buscar a Jesús!

Juan 1:1-18, 29-34, 51  NTV.

Our God has done many miraculous things as told in the Bible. From the Creation to the 10 plagues of Egypt to the parting of the Red Sea. However, He was not done and He still isn’t finished! Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Psalm 65 is a praise psalm on David’s part. However, for us, it’s a prophetic psalm as it talks about the end-time harvest. Harvests are mentioned quite a few times in the New Testament. Let’s see how Psalm 65 prophesies on the current reaping and future harvests…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Estamos in Lucas capitulo 7:36-50 NTV.
