It's been a week since the release of the Xbox Series X|S and the PS5 and the dust has started to settle... for the people who could get one. David has managed to snag a PS5 for himself and he gives us his first thoughts on the system design, UI and games. And Sean shares about a PS5 selling for over $1500, but don't sharpen your pitchforks just yet, it's not what it seems! And lastly, it's a good thing that Sean and David were able to get a next gen system when they could, because supply issues might leave others waiting until next year, and rumors of more lock downs might not be helping matters.
It's time! The Xbox Series X and the Playstation 5 have finally released! Join Sean and David this week as they talk about their experience on the Xbox release and how it didn't live up to past console releases. With a lack of true next-gen games, is this console launch a dud? With some comparisons to past generations there might be some hope for the future. Later on the guys analyze some "hot takes" which has Sean in disagreement. It's another great episode about a day that didn't live up to the hype.

Later on the guys discuss what might possibly be one of the most overlooked features of gaming consoles, the Main Menu, User Interface or UI as some people call it. Sony has a new layout and design for the PS5, but it seems that Microsoft is sticking with the same Xbox One UI for the Series X and S. There's a lot to take in, and while the guys are hoping for something easy on the eyes when it comes to their next gen systems, this episode is sure to be easy on the ears.
