✨In this grounded, heart-led, and deeply expansive episode of the Uplift Her Leadership Series, I sit down with the radiant and powerfully authentic Stephanie Soave — real estate leader, community builder, mother, and woman redefining what success truly looks like when you lead from alignment instead of pressure.
But before we step into her story, we begin as always with a gentle return.
A breath.
A pause.
A softening of the shoulders…
A quiet reconnection to your heart…
A moment to come back home to yourself.
From there, what unfolds is not a linear “success story.”
It’s the evolution.
The recalibration.
The seasons of doing… and the courage to finally do less.
Stephanie shares what happens when the hustle no longer fits.
When the grind starts to cost you moments you can’t get back.
When success looks full on the outside… but misaligned on the inside.
From building a thriving real estate business while raising young children…
Missing moments…
To rebuild her life and leadership from a place of presence, trust, and deep intention.
And perhaps most powerfully —
It’s about remembering that everything you’ve been searching for… was never outside of you.
✨ In this deeply honest and practical conversation, we explored:
✅ Growing up in service-based leadership and how it shaped her “people first” philosophy
✅ The truth about hustle culture — and the hidden cost of “doing whatever it takes”
✅ Masculine vs feminine energy in leadership — and how to lead in alignment
✅ Why clarity in who you serve changes everything in your business and life
✅ The power of attunement — and why it’s something we’re born with (not something we learn)
✅ Letting go of overconsumption (courses, strategies, noise) and returning to simplicity
Stephanie’s journey is a reminder that you don’t need to prove your worth through exhaustion.
You don’t need to sacrifice your life to build a successful one.
You don’t need more strategies.
You need trust.
You need alignment.
You need to come back to yourself.
Because when you are attuned… everything becomes clearer.
When you are present… everything becomes lighter.
And when you lead from love… success expands far beyond you.

In this guided breathwork meditation, you are gently guided out of overthinking and back into a sense of safety within your body.
A space where anxiety softens.
Where your breath becomes an anchor.
Where calm begins to return.
We begin by simply arriving.
Not fixing.
Not forcing.
Just noticing.
If your mind feels busy…
If your body feels restless…
You are in the right place.
Sit or lie down in whatever feels comfortable.
One hand on your chest.
One hand on your belly.
A simple way to reconnect with yourself.
Begin by observing your breath as it is.
No control.
No pressure.
Just awareness.
Gently repeat:
“I don’t need to control this moment.
I can support my body through it.”
Through slow nasal inhales…
A soft second sip of air at the top…
And long exhales through the mouth with a gentle “S” sound…
You begin to shift your state.
With each inhale, you gather what feels scattered.
With each exhale, you release what feels overwhelming.
Not perfectly.
Not forcefully.
Just gradually.
Your shoulders soften.
Your jaw unclenches.
Your body begins to feel safe again.
Thoughts may still be there.
That’s okay.
We’re not stopping them.
We’re changing what’s underneath.
As your breath returns to normal,
bring awareness to your body.
Where do you feel the anxiety?
And can you allow it—while also noticing:
the support beneath you…
the air on your skin…
the rhythm of your breath…
Your mind may still be active,
but your body is becoming calm.
You are not your thoughts.
You are the space holding them.
Even a small shift matters.
This is how regulation happens—gently.
You close with the affirmation:
“I am safe enough in this moment… and that is enough.”
Come back to this practice anytime you feel overwhelmed or stuck in overthinking.
Pause.
Breathe.
Return to yourself.

In this deeply nourishing and heart-opening episode of the Self-Care Goddess Podcast, I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Sandra Tadros Guirguis founder of STG Wellness, holistic health and wellness consultant, and author of Embracing Abundance to explore a topic that every woman will face at some point in her life yet so many navigate quietly and alone:
The journey from surviving to truly thriving.
Sandra’s work in wellness is not just professional, it is deeply personal. After experiencing profound grief, loss, and life-altering transitions, she found herself at a crossroads:
Would she stay stuck in pain… or transform it into purpose?
And from that space, she chose something powerful:
To rebuild her life through small, intentional steps rooted in compassion, self-awareness, and holistic care.
What she discovered along the way is something every woman needs to hear:
Healing is not about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about learning how to support yourself gently, consistently, and realistically.
We begin this episode, as always, with a grounding HeartMath-inspired coherence breath practice gently guiding you back into your body, your heart, and the present moment before diving into a deeply insightful and practical conversation about wellness, grief, habits, sleep, and self-empowerment.
✨In this powerful and practical conversation, we explored:
✅How to move from surviving to thriving through small, sustainable daily habits
✅Sandra’s personal journey through grief and how she transformed pain into purpose
✅Why “living alongside grief” is more powerful than trying to “get over it”
✅The connection between breath, lungs, and emotional healing (including grief)
✅How to build habits that actually stick using simple, realistic steps
✅The truth about motivation vs consistency and why small wins matter most
Sandra shares that true wellness is not about perfection or pressure, it's about alignment, awareness, and giving yourself grace.
Because when you start with one small step…
You create momentum.
And you begin to reclaim your life.
This episode is a beautiful reminder that transformation doesn’t happen overnight it happens through consistent, compassionate choices.
Healing is not linear.
Growth is not rushed.
And thriving is available to you one step at a time.

✨ In this powerful and heart-led episode of the Uplift Her Leadership Series, I sit down with the radiant and visionary Priya, founder of sariKNOTsari — a slow fashion movement cleverly disguised as a clothing brand.
Before we dive into her extraordinary story, we begin — as always — with a grounding heart-centered reset. A gentle pause. A breath. A moment to reconnect with gratitude and come back to yourself.
From there, what unfolds is a conversation about invisible threads, resilience, self-trust, community, feminine leadership, and the courage to let go of the “bananas” we were never meant to carry.
Priya shares how her journey from law school to teaching… from burnout to breakthrough… from chasing perfection to redefining beauty… ultimately led her to transform upcycled vintage saris into timeless, size-inclusive pieces that honor changing bodies and lived experience.
Priya reminds us that confidence is not about control — it’s about connection. That community is medicine. That clothes can be self-rescue.
And that real change happens through warmth, not force.
✨ In this thoughtful, wise, and beautifully layered conversation, we explored:
✅The “Invisible String” moments that guide us through life
✅Why chasing unrealistic beauty standards keeps us stuck
✅The Chanel epiphany that changed everything
✅Turning burnout into clarity during her teaching career
✅The Sun and the Wind leadership lesson — why warmth wins
✅Letting go of control with insights from Mel Robbins
✅The power of “Let Them” — and the even greater power of “Let Me”
✅Healing your inner child (and why your dream age might matter)
Priya’s vision extends far beyond clothing. She dreams of building village-based production models in India that support women, families, and education — proving that business can put people first and still thrive.

In this deeply empowering and truth-revealing episode of the Self-Care Goddess Podcast, I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Lewis Bertus, PA-C, to explore a topic that affects millions worldwide — yet remains widely misunderstood: the real root cause of type 2 diabetes… and how it can be reversed.Lewis is a physician assistant, diabetes reversal coach, and passionate advocate for lifestyle medicine. His mission became personal when his own wife struggled with type 2 diabetes for eight long years — following conventional advice, taking medications, and seeing little improvement. Determined to find answers, Lewis immersed himself in the science of insulin resistance and evidence-based nutrition. In just six weeks, his wife was completely off all diabetes medications. This life-changing experience ignited a powerful calling: to help others reclaim their health, lower insulin resistance, and experience the vitality and longevity they deserve. We begin this episode, as always, with a grounding HeartMath-inspired coherence breath practice — gently guiding you into parasympathetic calm before diving into a science-backed and spiritually aligned conversation about healing from the inside out.✨In this insightful and eye-opening conversation, we explored:✅The true root cause of insulin resistance — and why it’s not what most people think✅Why saturated fat — not fruit — may be driving the diabetes epidemic✅The powerful research showing how reducing dietary fat improves insulin sensitivity✅Why low-carb and keto diets manage symptoms but may not reverse the root cause✅The science behind plant-based nutrition and diabetes reversal✅How to structure your plate for optimal blood sugar balance✅The truth about protein, muscle building, and plant-based eatingLewis explains how keeping dietary fat under 15% of total calories can “ungum the lock” of insulin resistance — allowing carbohydrates to flow into the cell efficiently, just as nature intended. This episode is a reminder that diabetes is not simply a life sentence to manage — for many, it is a condition rooted in lifestyle patterns that can be transformed.Healing is possible. Reversal is possible. In this deeply moving and heart-led episode of the Self-Care Goddess Podcast, we begin as always with a gentle HeartMath coherence practice to settle the nervous system, soften the breath, and return to gratitude before stepping into conversation.
From that grounded space, I have the profound honor of welcoming Joyce Frustaglio, philanthropist, former Deputy Mayor of Vaughan, Citizenship and Immigration Judge, four-time cancer survivor, and a woman whose life is a masterclass in resilience, service, and integrity.
Born in Abruzzo, Italy, and raised in Canada, Joyce’s journey into leadership began at just 11 years old cleaning a neighbor’s home every Saturday, an experience that shaped her work ethic, character, and lifelong commitment to volunteerism.
Over the decades, she has:
• Served 35 years on the board of Villa Colombo
• Raised millions of dollars for hospitals and charitable organizations across the GTA
• Held elected office for 20 years with unwavering integrity
• Been appointed by Prime Minister Stephen Harper as a Citizenship and Immigration Judge
• Continued raising over a million dollars annually for causes supporting families navigating cancer
But beyond the titles is a woman who faced cancer four times — and chose courage, preparation, love, and gratitude each time.
✨ In this powerful and inspiring conversation, we explore:
✅How early volunteerism shapes leadership and success
✅Why giving is never about what you give but what you receive
✅The power of integrity and keeping your word
✅Building influence through service and authentic relationships
✅How volunteering opens unexpected doors in career and life
✅Facing life-threatening illness with grace and strength
✅The “packing your suitcase” philosophy — preparing your heart, not just your affairs
✅The importance of forgiveness, love, and saying the words now
Joyce reminds us that successful people rarely rise alone; they build their lives on service, community, and unwavering authenticity.

In this uplifting, heart-centered, and refreshingly fun episode of the UpliftHER Leadership Series on the Self-Care Goddess Podcast, I had the absolute joy of speaking with Chelle Hartzer — consulting entomologist, entrepreneur, problem-solver, and living proof that leadership comes in many beautifully unexpected forms.
