  • 88: Reflections & Lessons Learned from Hosting a Creative Workshop Weekend (Daydreaming 101)
If you are thinking of hosting an event or launching a creative project, want insights on working with a new business partner, or are interested in learning more about Daydreamers Collective (and maybe come to a future event if you couldn't make it to this one!), this episode is for you.
Dani (episode 86) and I hosted Daydreaming 101 this past weekend, a creative and educational workshop in Calgary bringing together influencers and small business owners. Throughout this 3 day event, we took time to reflect and share lessons learned for this podcast episode. We're taking you behind-the-scenes with us throughout this journey.
    In this episode, we discuss:
    - navigating an event during covid-19 and unforeseen circumstances (like a tornado warning on the first day...)
    - the important elements of a successful partnership
    - reflecting on how our vision unfolded in reality
    - what we learned from hosting Daydreaming 101
    - our fears, hesitations, and what success means to us

  • 79: Storytime: Working on Some Good News (John Krasinski)
Last Tuesday, I got a call asking if I wanted to help launch John Krasinski's Some Good News show on Tiktok. The past five days have been surreal, to say the least.
In today's episode, I share my experience of working with the SGN team. We launched the @somegoodnewsofficial Tiktok account on Wednesday, and geared up for SGN Prom on Friday. John wanted to host a virtual prom for the class of 2020 on Youtube live. With special guests like Rainn Wilson (Dwight from "the Office"), the Jonas Brothers, and Billie Eilish, SGN Prom hit 500k unique viewers in just a 30 minute live stream.
