Our focus on learning, formed when we are children, is often centered on academic subjects - maths, english science. All valuable knowledge for the workplace, but outside of that so is learning about ourselves.
Knowing who we are, what we like, what we want from life. This learning path is different for us all, it's a deeply personal level of understanding. The reward isnt a good grade, a certificate or qualification - but it does contribute to a feeling of acceptance, confidence and assurance.
Personal development, or self development, can be the light bulb moment which helps your awareness about what is happening on your life and how you can make decisions, set goals and have a greater sense of control over your life.
