We cover a variety of topics with James, now the head coach Lehigh Acres (Fla.) High School, including his path to Florida State and into his coaching career as well as his playing days as a Seminole. One of James’ star pupils at Lehigh Acres was defensive back Omarion Cooper, who signed with FSU this past December as part of Mike Norvell’s 2021 recruiting class. James also tells us what kind of player and young man Florida State is getting in Cooper.
