THIS EPISODE INCLUDES SPOILERS In this episode, I'll discuss the cinematic masterpiece of 1997: Perfect Blue, directed by Satoshi Kon. In which a young lady called "Mima Kirigoe" loses identity under the influence of trauma and stress that she faced after changing her career.

The rise of gothic literature is related to the manifestation of what we see on films, cinema and art that's so called "pop goth", in this episode I will talk about the historical background in which the genre appeared, and the relationship between pop culture and contemporary gothic fiction.
