In our conversation, we uncover the elements of the typical award letter, including grants, scholarships, work-study program opportunities, and loans. Jankel and I also read a real letter that was sent to a student in the recent past. We will also let you know how to ask a school for more than it is offering you, especially when that school is your top school, but it isn’t offering you as much financial aid as other schools are offering you.
