Welcome to the very new podcast, The Uematsuplex. A podcast centered around professional wrestling and hosted by two VGM Podcasters. Myself; Darryl "The Last Rican" Bowers of VGM Fight Club and Jessie "By Gawd" Moore of Game That Tune. Once a month (usually after a PPV) we will record an episode discussing the month in wrestling. Each month we will feature several categories where we will pick our favorites of the month for each one as well as discuss wrestling within itself. In honor of Scott Hall, whom passed away two weeks ago I decided to have a matchup featuring tracks from games featuring our favorite bad guys/enemies. Fresh off his victory against Kungfu Carlito, Alex is immediately challenged by none other then the 3x VGM Fight Club Champion, Bedroth!!! Has Bedroth gone Hogan (turned Heel) on us? Nope. It was just such an awesome match between Alex and Carlito he couldn't help but challenge the winner with a title shot on the line. The topic? We are back for season 4 of the VGM Fight Club and right off the bat we have a huge grudge match between Kungfu Carlito and Alex "The Messenger" Messenger. Alex has an axe to grind with Carlito for putting John "J Gangsta" Harrington over the last time Alex faced him. Carlito wants another shot at title. So what better way for this match to be decided then in a Capcom Cage Fight!!!! The rules for this particular fight are they are not allowed to use any tracks from the 8bit and 16bit era of Capcom games. That's right. Nothing from the NES, SNES, or Sega Genesis era.
