The Senators have won two in a row, and their 3-0 win in Toronto on Tuesday was one of their most complete 60-minute efforts in a long time. Kenzie Lalonde did a fantastic job as the first woman to call an NHL game in Canada. Nick Jensen has been a great pickup for the Sens, helping to rebalance the roster. Shane Pinto's return has done the same. The Sens host the Flyers on Thursday.

Ullmark is back and will join the team for a three-game road trip that starts Tuesday in Utah. Jake Sanderson's stock continues to rise. And the Sens' big guns are all getting their points across early.
The Sens have gone 1-2 since our last episode: a 4-1 loss in Montreal, a wild 8-7 OT win over LA and a 3-1 loss to the Devils. Injuries set in early. Linus Ullmark is already dinged up. He might be ready on Saturday unless he's not. Artem Zub and Ridly Greig are out for a week or two. The new free-agent forwards are off to a slow start. Erik Brannstrom back in the NHL.
Linus Ullmark shines as the Ottawa Senators win their home opener 3-1 over the Stanley Cup Champs. We discuss game number one, what we liked, what we didn't like (spoiler: not much), and we also wonder about the game in Montreal on Saturday night and how feisty it's likely to get.
The Ottawa Senators announced the signing of goalie Linus Ullmark to a four-year extension today worth $33 million. That will keep him in Ottawa for the next five seasons. In this episode, Steve Warne is joined by Graeme Nichols, a fellow contributor to The Hockey News Ottawa, to break it all down. And we hear from Steve Staios and Linus Ullmark, in their own words, as to why the extension made sense for both sides.
