Have you ever noticed how some people wow the crowd when they talk, while others just don’t? It’s not only about what they say, but how they say it.
And guess what? Some phrases might even make you seem less bright than you really are.
Science backs this up. The words we choose can shape how others see us. Want to sound clever and leave a lasting impression? Watch your words!
Now, let’s break it down. Here are 10 phrases that can make you sound less intelligent

You can’t criticize yourself into a better person. But that’s exactly what you do when you make a mistake or mess up. For example, you may say, “I am such an idiot,” “why would they talk to me?” “I am so ugly,” I can’t even do the math.” You think that being your own worst critic will motivate you to do better. Don’t you? No, my friend. If that were the case, we would have a lot of motivated people around us. You will decrease your chances of success when you criticize yourself. Why? Because your mind is working against you! If you keep repeating this type of negative self-talk, it’s easy to accept these things as truth and feel like you don’t deserve to eat healthy or exercise.
So, when you find yourself saying things like, “I’m not good enough,” or “I could never do that,” it’s important to remind yourself that this type of negative self-talk is not helpful, and in many cases, it’s not even true.
A lot of people believe that if they’re hard on themselves, they’ll somehow force themselves to improve. The logic goes something like, “If I’m tough on myself, I’ll have no choice but to get better.” It’s almost like trying to use negativity as fuel, but here’s the catch—it doesn’t work. Instead of pushing you forward, self-criticism acts like a heavy weight, dragging you down into a spiral of shame, guilt, and self-doubt.
Let’s explore the topic and dive deeper into why this type of self-criticism is a losing strategy.
What approach should you be taking for growth, but not stagnation?

I’ve just got some inspiration to share some of my thoughts in this episode.
Summer has always been my favorite time of the year. Back home, my friends and I never lacked for something fun to do, despite living in a small village. We were never bored. Whether we were fishing or swimming, we were lucky as kids to be so close to nature, able to fully enjoy those sunny days.
As children, we didn’t have much choice in the matter, but looking back now, I realize we weren’t any less happy—if anything, it was quite the opposite. Paradoxically, not having many “opportunities” or luxuries turned out to be the best way to appreciate what we already had. The simplest joy of being able to do whatever we wanted meant the world to us.
Here are eleven attractive traits of an introvert.

Today's discussion is about leaving your comfort zone.
It’s definitely crucial to leave your comfort zone, but only if it seems worthwhile for you. In fact, it is only when you feel that something is meaningful and valuable to you that you will find the courage and aspiration to pursue it. Your “why” has to be so strong that it outweighs the pain and suffering that the endeavor might cause you.
Many of us take the idea of leaving our comfort zone too seriously and forget that it can sometimes be unhealthy. We may feel unworthy or inadequate just because someone else tells us to do something.
Of course, there are exceptions when people do things they hate because otherwise, they would suffer even more. The conclusion is that you have to find something where the cost of not doing it is higher than the cost of doing it. So, if someone tells you to “do X,” and it’s not within your set of priorities (at least for now), don’t do it. With time, you might realize that this thing needs to take some place in your life, but it’s more likely to happen through your own personal realization, not someone else’s speculation.
On the other hand, I think that taking on the perspective of others is important as well. Listening to what others offer and knowing that it can change you for the better is crucial. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our own bubbles and ways of seeing the world that we forget it might actually hurt others.
