In the last episode of Sentenced, we discussed a serial killer that was terrorizing the Tampa area of Florida in the 1980’s. The bodies of 6 young women had been discovered by the fall of 1984. But when Lisa McVey was abducted, everything would change. Lisa was able to manipulate her abductor into setting her free.

In May of 1984, the streets of Tampa were hunting grounds for a serial killer. By fall, at least 6 bodies had been discovered. As police were building a profile, the killer was flying under the radar. As they got close, detectives were still missing the last puzzle piece. It wouldn't be until a vulnerable teenager brought them the final clue. Finally, the entire horrible picture came together.

Jessica was a vibrant teen, who enjoyed living life and making the fullest out of every moment. After she was found murdered, someone would confess to the crime. If someone confessed, then why did this turn into a 23-year-old cold case by 2020?
