Are you honest? Are you really honest? Tell me, do you really care about other people, or is that just lip service? How far do you go out of your way to help someone? No, really! I want to know! You may talk a good game sitting in a circle of chairs, but aren’t you really just there for yourself and your wants and needs? C’mon! You can admit it this time. Just this once. Being selfish and self-centered is so human, yet we all get butt-hurt and defensive when someone challenges this human (not just addict or alcoholic) condition. It’s really okay to be selfish and self-centered to a certain degree. It’s really quite human. Are you not human? Of course, you are, unless they actually have taught apes to read and buy books! Holy shit! Are you an ape? And you’re an addict/alcoholic? I have so many questions. Assuming you are only human, don’t you think it’s better to acknowledge your humanity so you can operate from the point of truth?
