Sequelisers

Oompa loompa doompety doo, we've got a rubbish remake for you.

Oompa loompa doompety dee, it's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

What do you get when Tim Burton remakes?

Johnny Depp plus Michael Jackson deep fake.

What is he at when he's talking like that?

Why's he such an annoying twat?

We can't stand this crap remake.

When we talk about epic cinema, it doesn't get more epic than Ben-Hur. So who in their right mind would try and top it? Well in 2016 that's exactly what MGM decided to do. Suffice it to say, that didn't work. So we thought we'd take a stab at it. And.. you honestly have no idea where we've taken the Ben-Hur tale.

Fasten your seatbelt and rev up your engine, we're taking a trip back to the 60s to take a look at The Love Bug, and then to the 90s for it's strange straight-to-TV remake/reboot/sequel.

If Bruce Campbell isn't enough to save your film, what will the Requelisers do to get this clunker across the finish line?

Get your Illusion-O glasses ready and venture into a glass case of spectral emotions as we fix 2001's Thir13en Ghosts (yes, that is how they spelt it because it was the 2000s).

When the best part of the film is the DVD extras, you know it needs Requelising!

Do you like Clash Of The Titans? Like, really like it? Yeah, we're not so sure anyone does. Whether it's the 1981 original or the 2010 remake, they're both odd relics that take a pretty solid premise and fumble it in multiple ways. But don't worry, we're here to give it a fresh coat of paint with an upgraded remake. So fetch your clockwork owl, tame a flying horse and prepare to...RELEASE THE KRAKEN!

Hop aboard the downtown express as we take a trip back to 1974 to an underseen classic, and then on to 2009 for a mediocre remake marred by John Travolta and his insistence on saying "bumhole". Let's see if we can do any better...

Your time will come...and that time is now!

You've probably seen the memes but not the full film because we are finally talking about the wonderfully terrible The Wicker Man remake starring the one & only Nicolas Cage!

Wolverines! That's right, when Russia, or China.. or, I mean, North Korea plan on taking over the world, it's up to a handful of plucky school kids with the gumption to stand up and fight back. Well, similarly, when studios propose terrible remakes of (admittedly questionable) movies, it's up to us to do the same!

Put on your biggest jewels and practice your French accent, as this week we're taking a look at 1963's The Pink Panther, and the terrible 2006 remake.

We explore the original series, discuss the weird cartoon legacy of the films, and suffer through Steve Martin's awful attempt to reboot the franchise. Plus, can we do any better when it comes to remaking the original?

It's for us to return to Raccoon City and fix the latest cinematic outing for the Resident Evil franchise.

Yes, we forced Tim to watch another Resident Evil film.

Yes, he hated almost every second of it.
