The wait is over and we can finally put to rest the argument as to who the TRUE King of the Monsters is... after we wade through yet another round of human plots we don’t care about (minus Gia). It’s a story of loss, ego, discovery and shouting matches - We travel to Hollow Earth and Hong Kong, a metropolis with the most stable building construction of all time! Two (?) "Apex" predators duke it out as we sit ringside for the rematch of the century and settle the grudge once and for all in Legendary's "Godzilla Vs. Kong"!
"Oooooh no, they say he’s got to go - go, go, Godzilla!" We've reached the battle to end all battles before the real battle to really end all battles. Our hero Godzilla goes through the gauntlet of Titans and discovers just how out of shape he is. And once more, we have too many humans getting in the way of what we’d really rather see: Giant fighting Kaiju monsters! This film's got family drama, eco-terrorism, and Alpha dominance galore, but trust us when we say the chaos dies with our patience. Join us for the occasional monster battle and a trio of nasty Hydra heads as we bow down to Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
You shouldn’t have come here, we’re all gonna die... laughing. The next BIG step we take is back to the 70’s and you’ll never forget it with the heavy dose of the classics such as hits from Black Sabbath, Credence Clearwater Revival and Jefferson Airplane. But enough about that. You’re really here because you know there’s something else out there the world doesn’t want you to know about - he’s big, he’s dangerous, and he’s living his best, private life before we enter the picture. We are traveling to an island so dangerous, so elusive... you’d think it was Joel’s air supply! Join us and Joel "The Voice" Paauwe as we mount up and embark on a new expedition in Kong: Skull Island!
We have no choice: Let Them Fight. We're taking one huge step in our path to franchise greatness and we mean that literally. The MonsterVerse awaits and unlike Bryan Cranston, we’ll stick around for the whole thing with Joel "The Voice" Paauwe in tow. This film's got it all - human drama nobody asked for and 10 minutes of Godzilla... but what a ten minutes it is! So join us as we crush the city and screech a big roar because we are taking on Godzilla!
We finally say goodbye to the Star Wars... again. We send off these galactic heroes the only way we know how: by talking for hours about our favorite (and least favorite) parts. We have awards, lists, recap raps, and surprises... but fear not! We are coming back with a BIG reveal for our next franchise, and you won’t want to miss this one - Please excuse the technical hitches. Join us as we bid farewell to The Mandalorian and company in our wrap up!
The bar had been set and broken... and now it's been shattered yet again. Just when you think The Mandalorian couldn’t get any better, it goes beyond the most ambitious expectations! These last two episodes give us characters we didn’t know we needed and ones we forgot we loved. We have religious rivalry and self exploration - and we can’t wait to talk about an extraordinary appearance by an icon of cinema and a hero of mythic proportions. Please join us as we welcome Joel "The Voice" Paauwe back into the fold and say goodbye (in more ways than one) to Grogu in Chapters 15 and 16: The Believer and The Rescue!
Dank Farrik! In this week's installment of SequelMen: The Podcast, The titular Mandalorian and The Child continue their quest to find the Jedi and complete his mission, and we remain alongside them every step of The Way. The episodes covered today remain some of the best in the series to date - minus one. Secret cloning facilities, the live-action debut of fan favorite former Jedi Ahsoka Tano, Baby Yoda's identity revealed, and the redemption of a legendary bounty hunter? With all of these developments come a mixed bag of style and substance so please join us as we continue to chronicle the adventures of Din Djarin and Co. in The Mandalorian, Chapters 12, 13, 14: The Siege, The Jedi, and The Tragedy!
It's the start of something new - Season 2! With the Client dead and the encounter with Moff Gideon behind us, we now follow Mando and BY50 on the next leg of their journey to find the Jedi - but first we have to gather information and what better way to do that through three episodes of fetch questing! Join us and Joel "The Voice" Paauwe once more as we slay dragons, ferry passengers, and seize ships in The Mandalorian: Chapters 9-11: The Marshall, The Passenger, and The Heiress!
In the epic conclusion to S1, we discover who the real villain is. We are given a name to go with the face(less) Mando we have come to know and love, and we even get a little Stormtrooper SNL sketch to boot! If action is what you seek, look no further than the adventures of Din Djarin and The Child... oh yeah, along with Carl Weathers and a former MMA fighter. Join us as we say goodbye and head into S2 with a cliffhanger you’ll never see coming - the stage is set and it's sure to be a “dark” road for Mando and friends in Chapters 7 and 8 of The Mandalorian: The Reckoning and Redemption.
Alas, we’ve finally reached the filler episodes. But don’t be discouraged! Even filler episodes are good when we're spending time with The Mandalorian. We explore forced love stories, Original AND Prequel Trilogy call backs, and a prison break worthy of Andy Dufresne... if Andy was an idiot. If you’re also concerned about "the gunslinger" being too pretty for Star Wars, join us as we make our way further into Mando's adoption of the child in Chapters 4-6 of "The Mandalorian" - Sanctuary, The Gunslinger, and The Prisoner!
