When you make your first team debut at 17 on the back of several England U16 and U18 caps, you would think Russ Howarth's career was set up to be a long and prosperous one. However, by the age of 25, Russ decided he didn't want to continue in the game and here he discusses that football journey and the significant sliding doors moments that culminated in that decision.
