We have to remember that the disciples’ life of following Jesus all started as a result of an initial decision followed by a series of decision to continue to trust and follow.

Faith is about this ongoing relationship with Christ that leads you to new levels of trust. Faith is about “No Fear” in the midst of terrifying situations because we know we can trust Jesus.

There was no power, no ability in this man to control his own destiny. Left alone, there was no end but destruction; but Jesus came and brought a healing, creative power that utterly transformed him and his way of life.

Even in our doubts of how a STORM may end, I believe we can lean on Jesus to drive away the fear. When Jesus is in the boat we can choose faith over fear even when we’re uncertain of the details.

A good honest heart hears with the purpose to OBEY

Jesus wants us to know there is really only one way to respond to the GOSPEL…with all of our heart.

At the core of holy life is love for one another. I am convinced that understanding the depths of God’s forgiveness for us is the core of loving others.
