Israel found itself in a time of testing shortly after they departed from Egypt.   They ran out of water.  How would they respond?     How do we respond when we are tested?   Our choices in such times can greatly influence the course of our lives.    This message is offered to help make the right choice

We were not born with an instruction manual.  This leads to a confusing and frustrating life.  A construction manual for our lives has been made available.  

A sermon which offers insights on temptation as well as ways to fight back when under temptation . 

This is an Ash Wednesday Sermon focusing on repentance. 

5 different people were in attendance at Jesus' transfiguration.  With a unique approach, this sermon closely examines the reason Jesus invited them to be there. 

During his sermon on the mount,  Jesus turned to his disciples and said  "you are the light of the world."    In a world of darkness,  Christians can offer clarity to the people of world by simply being who they are in Christ. 

This Sermon explores two Spiritual truths which we must learn. 

So many descriptive words of Jesus can be found in the Bible!   Why?  Because God want's us to REALLY Know his Son.  In Isaiah 49:1,2  Jesus describes himself as a Sharp Sword and a Polished Arrow.   These weapons of war used as a description of Jesus seem way out of character for the Jesus we know,  but they are really not.   

John the Baptist had a lot of questions when Jesus appeared before him to be baptized; chief of which was WHY?    John's baptism was for sinners.   Jesus was not a sinner.    Jesus said,  "Let it be so now, for it is fitting to fulfill all righteousness."    This sentence is a compact explanation of Jesus entire purpose in coming.   

How did the Wisemen know what the star meant?  Why did they take a detour to Jerusalem?  These questions will be answered with the goal of also answering why we take detours off our path to knowing Christ and how to avoid them.
