Scripture: Exodus 16

Manna was a great big daily reminder to the Israelites that God is the Supplier of all the necessities of life, starting with breakfast. The daily act of gathering the miraculous manna engaged the Israelites in the physical discipline of receiving from God, recognizing Him as the Source, and building their trust in Him.

God is always working in our world to demonstrate his existence, character and compassion, but it takes eyes of faith to see it.
