Ecclesiastes 1:12-18

Solomon discusses his frustration with the fact that there are some things in life that cannot be changed, regardless of how much "under the sun" wisdom you have. It’s not simply that life is random and we can’t control it, but that God is often at the bottom of it all, for reasons we cannot comprehend. The Good News is that Jesus entered into all the vexation of life in a fallen world in order to show us God's wisdom for salvation and everyday living. We don't have to be limited to "under the sun" thinking, but can instead live W.I.S.E. lives.

Ecclesiastes 1:3-11

Solomon illustrates the fact that "Life Under The Sun" can never satisfy our souls, which is why God offers us "Life In The Son."
