Mike talks about our tendency to think we need to be more like Abel and less like Cain. In truth, we are all like Cain in our attempts to please God through our effort and merit. Yet, as with Cain, God doesn't kill us for our sin, but provides a perfect sacrifice to atone for our sin - something Cain was unable to do.

Mike talks about our "first" parents and how their failure to obey God introduced sin into the world that is inherent in us. Yet, God would send a truer and greater Adam to save us from devastation and loss brought on by the first Adam. [No video]
