The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is something Jesus tells His disciples to eagerly await. They did and the whole world was turned upside down. Two thousand years later ignorance and even avoidance surrounds this topic rather than expectation. This message will point you back to the anticipation of the first century believers.

We are God's special treasure, chosen by Him to not only be His royal sons and daughters, but sanctified and made holy by Him through Christ to bring His ministry of reconciliation to the world. When we truly realize how unique we are in His eyes and how deeply He intimately loves us, we cannot help but cherish ourselves and others as His amazing handiwork.

Well watered roots bear fruit. It is true in the natural and it is definitely true in the Spiritual realm. If you want a more fruitful life you need His living water. God has called this congregation to claim Jer 17:8 and to truly be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. When we do this we can live without fear and worry and we can bear fruit despite the external circumstances around us.

What God wants to do through you is just as miraculous as Abraham and Sarah having a child at their old age. What you are called to requires the Holy Spirit to be accomplished. The fruit that is born in the children of God is supernatural fruit that can only grown from God's seed!

When we hear the word "reconciliation", we tend to think of forgiveness of sins and being at peace with our enemies. While these things are true, there is so much more! This message will celebrate the amazing, transforming, life-changing power that has been given to us from God through the ministry of reconciliation.

In Matthew 21 we find the very strange story of Jesus cursing a fig tree that does not bear out of season. We also find two Kingdom parables that tell us about expectation. Could it be that in the Kingdom of Heaven the expectations have changed?

Jesus said "I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener" John 15:1. The truth that comes forth in our lives because of our relationship with Him will be true. God is not impressed with the artificial He wants the real thing.

Fruitfulness for humans comes from intimacy. We don’t need bees we need relationship. Jesus beautifully exemplifies the fruit that is born out of a life of intimacy. We too are called to this kind of relationship with God.

If you have gardened in Colorado much then you know that the key to fruitfulness is soil amendment. Our heart’s are the soil that God’s seed is planted in. If we are to be a fruitful people then we too need to see to it that our soil is ready!

The coming of God is something to be celebrated! Though while we make a big deal about Christmas the coming of the Spirit which enabled the church goes without notice for many believers. When we understand the role the Spirit plays in our lives and our need for Him then we will not overlook this special day!
