Luke 1:5-7 is an example of God's dream for Zechariah and Elizabeth to have a child in their eighties which was well beyond their wildest expectation.

Matthew begins the story of the Nativity with a genealogy. The bloodline linking Jesus back to Abraham and King David, was a sign of legitimacy for the Messiah. But what we see upon a closer look at Matthew’s genealogy is that he includes the illegitimate because God is in the business of supernaturally making the illegitimate legitimate.

Glorifying God is usually costly and illogical, and Mary knew her reputation would be sacrificed by becoming pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Mary knew that by accepting this reality people would consider her insane but she still said "Yes" to God and the gift was so much greater than she imagined!

Those that experience life changing encounter with the Lord are the ones willing to say- I'll go wherever you lead. This message includes testimonies from members of our congregation about how they have encountered God in 2009.

Romans 8:24-25 tells us

But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

There is more than what you have already seen the Lord do-- this is the conviction of the believer that lives with Expectation. We believe God's word that we are to wait for what we do not yet have and we will be renewed in strength by the Lord.
