Simeon lived a life of expectation we can learn from. He was led by the Holy Spirit in the same way each of us today need to allow the Holy Spirit to lead our lives. This allowed him to live out of revelation that gave Him eyes of faith to see the Messiah without angel entourage, or star, He was simply “moved by the Spirit. He "was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord's Christ. Luke 2:25-26

Joy is one of the primary characteristics of the Kingdom of God because joy is one of the primary characteristics of the king. When the Kingdom comes, joy is expected. When He comes into our lives, our family, and is the object of our worship it is normal to experience joy in these places because God is there. This sermon challenges the believer to a life of Joy, which only makes sense in God’s presence.

Jesus begins His supernatural ministry in John 2 by turning water into wine. He announced with this action I make the natural Supernatural. He is still in the business of doing this today, and He wants to begin in you!

What happens when the devil who once had power to come in and accuse you day and night (Rev 12:10) is shut out by your agreement with the Father? We no longer feel separation from God. This sermon takes a look at the way God welcomes us into His presence.

We have a New Covenant here on earth, because in Heaven things have changed. The blood of Jesus took all the separation away. 6But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises. 7For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. Hebrew 8:6-7

It says in 1 Cor 1:6, "God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you." It is our prayer that God does this in you through these stories. Each of these individuals are children of the King, who have experienced His grace, pressing in for more of Him. They share their testimonies from The School of Healing held September 16-19.

We create boundaries for things we love. The story of Nehemiah is a beautiful illustration of this. Nehemiah had an intense love for Israel and her city Jerusalem. He loved her enough to build her a way. The same is true with those we love today. When we love them enough we build them walls.

With every decision: our words, our actions, we are constantly cultivating an environment of love or an environment of fear. These two are at odds with each other. God did not give us fear, in fact He tells us that perfect love drives out fear (1 John 4:18). As we seek to be Kingdom families we must embrace the opportunity to agree with Heaven and choose love over fear.

Declaration from sermon: I cannot control you. I was not put on this earth to control anyone but myself. I commit to calling you to life, to calling you to freedom. I am sorry for the ways I have lost control of myself. I am sorry for the ways I have tried to exhibit control over you. I believe that Christ in me can make a change in these behaviors, so that I can be a Kingdom influence in this relationship.

Kingdom Families begin with individuals how have a greater awareness for what heaven believes about us than what the world believes. We are inundated with messages about our worth or lack their of, but we have to seek the Kingdom in order to know the truth of who Jesus has made
