God wants His kids to know that they are His treasures. Psalm 139:18 tells us that His thoughts of us are more numerous than the sands of the sea shore. Yet many believers are stuck believing a lie that God is just tolerating them. This is not the heart of our Father, and we need to boldly move in faith towards fully embracing our place in His family.

Flaming arrows come in man forms: relational issues, work situations, disease, loss, sadness. But the good news of Scripture is that He has given us the tools we need to extinguish all these arrows (Eph 6:16), what we need is faith. Faith is a shield against everything the devil can muster.

We are equipped to go into battle when we have allowed the truth and beauty of the Gospel to give us an abiding peace. Peach should be a distinguishing mark of the people of God. When we allow God to show us His goodness towards us, we become fitted with it. It is ours and we are ready for battle.

When it comes to protection your breastplate covers most of the essentials and only His righteousness will do- the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Any breastplate made of our own righteousness would not be effective against the attacks of the devil. This sermon takes a look at the righteousness of Christ and how it is our perfect protection in life.

Truth is where we must begin if we are to step into our destiny in Jesus Christ. When we allow lies to confuse us then we battle the wrong foe. Paul makes it clear, our struggle is not against flesh and blood (Eph 6:12) yet many believers are down on themselves instead of focused on Christ and His truth.

Trials and tribulations can be very difficult in our lives, but failure is in a class all its own. While trials can seem random and beyond our control, catastrophic failure brings an element of condemnation which can torment us. We can take comfort when we know that God knew our failures from eternity past; and if we will entrust them to Him, He will weave them into our lives to produce a beautiful tapestry of His glory.

Jesus tells us that anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. John 14:12 Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), this is our calling too. We have authority as sons and daughters of God and we need to embrace this identity so that we can begin overcoming with Him instead of surviving.

From the perspective of Heaven these are nothing is worthy of fear. In fact, 1 John 4:18 Our country is in a crisis. We lack fathers. New statistics show that 40% of the babies born are born to single mothers. This is a staggering and revealing. A fatherless people attribute the sins of their earthly fathers to the Father in Heaven. But Scripture tells us about a Father who is good. He loves us. He has good plans for us. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing we just need to believe Him.

From the perspective of Heaven these are nothing is worthy of fear. In fact, 1 John 4:18 tells us, "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." When we fear, we have lost perspective that God already has gained victory and given it to us. He is perfect love and if we will focus on Him fear will be banished.
