In the opening chapters of Job, we are given a glimpse into the heavenly council where God describes Job as a man of integrity and faithfulness. This raises a searching question: What would God say about us to His heavenly council? The book of Job explores a timeless test of faith - do people worship God only for what they can receive, or do they love Him for who He is, even in seasons of suffering and darkness? As we begin this series, we will discover how a genuine relationship with God produces hope, faith, and perseverance, even when life is at its hardest.

In 1 Corinthians 1:4–9, Paul begins with thanksgiving, highlighting three reasons for gratitude: God’s grace given to believers in Christ, the spiritual enrichment that enables them to exalt Christ through their gifts and service, and God’s faithful promise to sustain them until the day of Jesus Christ. Before addressing the church’s shortcomings, Paul models how thanksgiving provides the proper soil for loving correction, reminding believers that God’s grace, gifts, and faithfulness remain the foundation of Christian growth.

This sermon explores 1 Peter 4:10–11 and expalins how God uses the many experiences of our lives- our education, family background, careers, spiritual journey, successes, struggles, and even our deepest pains - to equip us for serving others. Every believer has received gifts and opportunities to be a faithful steward of God's grace. As we serve others with the strength that God provides, rather than relying on our own abilities, our lives become channels of His grace and instruments of His purpose. Ultimately, our service is not about personal recognition but about bringing glory and praise to God through Jesus Christ.

Because Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth, His call to go into both saved and unsaved spaces carries the highest priority for every believer. It examines the Spirit's role in providing wisdom, indwelling believers, empowering witness, inspiring preaching and prophecy, enabling repentance, performing miracles and healings, and revealing God's presence among His people. Through the example of the early church, we learn how dependence on the Holy Spirit leads to spiritual growth, encouragement, and effective ministry. Without the Holy Spirit, the church lacks the power, guidance, and divine presence necessary to fulfill its God-given mission.

This sermon explores Acts 2:1–21 and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost . Through the powerful image of fire, we see how the Spirit of God transcends every barrier of language, culture, fear, and separation. Fire throughout Scripture represents God’s holiness, His protection, His presence, and the testing and refining of our works. Why does God use fire? Because fire warms what is cold, illuminates what is dark, purifies what is impure, releases power and energy, and melts different elements together into one. In the same way, the Holy Spirit comes to revive hearts, bring clarity, cleanse lives, empower believers, and unite people into one body under Christ. This sermon calls the church to move beyond division and be transformed by the refining and unifying fire of God’s Spirit.
