We are grateful for a visit from the Rt. Rev. Peter Eagles, Bishop of Sodor and Man, who is preaching at the 10:00am traditional service today. A large portion of his ministry has been with the Royal Army Chaplains’ Department, serving soldiers and their families. Called by the church in 2017 to serve as Bishop, he cares for one of the oldest dioceses in the Church of England.

When we watch a show about Jesus like The Chosen, we might feel a little left out and think, "I wish I'd been alive when Jesus was on earth. It would have been exciting to be in his inner circle and to see him at work." But how narrow would God’s plan have been if only those twelve disciples and Mary Magdalene got those front row seats for 3 years, and that was the extent of God’s plan.
