The kingdom of God, though it seems small and insignificant, grows out of proportion to its original size and its growth is irresistible.

Esther intercedes before King Ahasuerus on behalf of her Jewish people, implicating Haman in the plot to annihilate the Jews in Persia. When the king hears of this, he has Haman put to death. Justice against this evil plot was meted out. God, in a perfect way, will execute His justice against all His enemies and against all the enemies of His people.

God superintends the affairs of the king and Haman in this chapter. He ultimately turns the tables on the enemies of His people. For the Christian, the beauty of God's unseen hand of Providence provides help and hope for believers in times of distress.

Esther takes action on behalf of her people by visiting the king uninvited, while Haman continues in his hatred toward the Jews.
