Under the leadership of Nehemiah and the spiritual leaders of Israel, the worship of God is reemphasized as the rededication of the wall takes place.

After the reading of the Law (Chapter 8) and confessing their sins (Chapter 9), Israel turns their attention to renewing their commitment to the Lord.

On the heels of reading the Law of God, the exiles are convicted of their sins and confess them before the Lord.

In this chapter of Nehemiah, we find that true spiritual revival and renewal begins and ends with a commitment to the Word of God and its commands.

Biblical Worldview Introduction

Though the Lord's servants will encounter opposition in doing the Lord's work, He will protect them from the assaults of the enemy to carry out His plans for the glory of His name.

Nehemiah, faced with an internal crisis, hears the cries of God’s people, finds a solution that glorifies God, and sets an example that exemplifies Christ.

Nehemiah turns to God in prayer, guidance, and encouragement as the people encounter opposition from their enemies as they rebuild the wall.
