Daniel records the last revelation he is given, concerning the final stage of human history, just prior to the return of Jesus Christ, when He destroys all of the enemies of God and His people, and establishes His millennial kingdom

After summarizing the principles and practices of sanctification and an exhortation to emit a Christ, Paul warns the Ephesians of certain contrasting sinful behaviors which should not be characteristic of them in any way.

Daniel records the revelation of specific kings and kingdoms which the angel tells him in his last vision that relate to the nation and people of Israel in both the near, and far distant future, and particularly those who might destroy her.

As Paul concludes his instructions on the principles and practices of the put-off and put-on process of sanctification, he gives the Ephesians a summary exhortation concerning how they are to walk in a manner worthy of their calling.

Daniel records the first part of the last vision he received in his ministry, which concerns the Kingdom of God, nations, kings, and the people of God, beginning with God’s King and His servants.

The Apostle Paul elaborates on the process of sanctification, by describing those sinful behaviors that we are to put off, and exchange with the righteous behaviors of Christ-likeness, that are to characterize everyone in Christ.

Daniel records a prophetic answer to his prayer of confession and petition for Israel, which did not pertain to their immediate forgiveness and restoration to the land, but to a more future and final forgiveness and restoration.

The Apostle Paul contrasts the unworthy walk of the Gentiles which he has called the Ephesians to abstain from, with the worthy walk, in and towards Christ-likeness, which he reminds them, begins and ends with the truth in Christ.

In light of his inquiry concerning the remaining years for the exile of Israel, Daniel confesses the sins of his people, which have brought Yahweh’s judgement upon them, and now pleads for their forgiveness and restoration.

The Apostle Paul continues to explain to the Ephesians how they are to live in light of his exhortation to walk in a manner worthy of their calling, by now explaining to them the unworthy walk which they are to cease and put-off.
